Piper Morgan to the Rescue

Piper Morgan to the Rescue
By Stephanie Faris

Piper helps some four-legged friends find the perfect home in the third book of the brand-new Piper Morgan series.

Piper is super excited to help out at Bark Street, a local animal shelter in town. Who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by adorable puppies and dogs all day? And when Piper sees Taffy, the cutest dog she has ever seen, Piper is determined to find a way to bring Taffy home. But it won’t be easy—especially when she finds out someone else wants to make Taffy a part of their family, too!

Stephanie Faris knew she wanted to be an author from a very young age. In fact, her mother often told her to stop reading so much and go outside and play with the other kids. After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism, she somehow found herself working in information technology. But she never stopped writing.

Stephanie is the Simon & Schuster author of 30 Days of No Gossip and 25 Roses, as well as the Piper Morganseries. When she isn’t crafting fiction, she writes for a variety of online websites on the topics of business, technology, and her favorite subject of all—fashion. She lives in Nashville with her husband, a sales executive.

  1. The Lost Island I'm super excited because I am writing my second book in the same series  as my first book. It will be a mystery and adventure. The book is called The Lost Island! You can even look for the post about it on my blog if you keep scrolling down the page to find out more information on this book in the works!
  2. Haily Benton and the School of Secrets This is another book I am writing right now! This is the first book to another series of mine. This book will be posted more about on Wednesday! So make sure to check it out!
  3. Friday Feature I am so excited to write my friday feature this week it is about an author friend of mine and her new book! Stephanie Faris is really nice and has several books out right now. I own some of them, but make sure to catch this Friday Feature to find out more!
  4. Christmas This week we have a lot of shopping to do for the holidays. We already decorated for Christmas in our house! I always loved having family over for Christmas. It is my favorite part of Christmas! But I think next year that might change. Only because I have a baby cousin and she is going to want to stay home on Christmas and play with her toys. this year she doesn't know what Christmas is, But next year she most likely will know. My moms side of the family will not come they will go to my cousins house instead. My mom's mom said that we would do Christmas with my mom's side of the family a week early. I really don't care about getting gifts early. What i care about is seeing my family on Christmas day.
  5. Clubs In school I am in student council which is on Tuesdays but school was closed last week due to Election Day and this week we have off on Monday and this Tuesday again no student council for me.

Baby-Sitters Club Friday Feature

Poor Stacey. She just moved to a new town, is still coming to terms with her diabetes, and is facing baby-sitting problems left and right. Fortunately, Stacey has three new friends -- Kristy, Claudia, and Mary Anne. Together they're the BSC -- and they will deal with whatever's thrown their way... even if it's a rival baby-sitting club!

One part to the book was about Stacy and her old friend Laine from New York. Stacy also has diabetes and is going to all of the doctors in all different places. Will Stacy be able to handle all of this happening at once? Find out more by reading the book!

This book is so fun to read. So make sure to check out the other books in the series for more fun with the Baby-Sitters Club! I recommend this book for kids ages 8-12.

Stay tuned for more like this every Friday!

Aruba

Aruba

Aruba is my favorite place to be.

Over the summer I went to Aruba. Aruba at night was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The palm trees swayed in the warm breeze. Aruba was all lit up with colorful lights, and there were venders everywhere I looked. That wasn't nearly it. We stayed at Divi Phoenix Resorts in the top floor pent house which gave my family and me the perfect view of the pools from our balcony. The pools light up and change colors at night. The view of the ocean waves by the palapas was so comforting. Sometimes by the clock tower there is a water show. The water lights up and dances to the music. On Thursday nights by the clock tower in the same place there are performers that do crazy acts and tricks and some with fire too.

Aruba at day was nice too but not as many lights. No shows but a great time in the ocean and on the beach, going out to eat, getting smoothies, and getting to dunk my grandfather and my dad in the ocean. I even met a bird named Chichi that called my grandfather cuckoo and whistled at me!

The author Kelly Hashway has a three book series. This is the first book but make sure to check out her other books.

The second book is called Mystery of Majestic Cave.

The third book is called Visions of Mockingbird Point.

Here is some more about Curse of the Granville Fortune.

Twelve-year-old J.B.’s visions leave him sweaty, lightheaded, and certain he’s turning into a freak—or worse, going insane.

The visions stem from a family curse. An ancestor stole the Granville fortune, and now J.B.’s entire family will suffer. To break the curse, J.B. must find and return the Granville’s stolen property.

But he’s not the only one searching for the treasure. His journey leads to a dark forest where he’ll battle his worst fears. And when he meets two others who share the missing pieces of his visions and suffer from the same curse, the three soon realize they need to work together to break the curse before it's too late.
