Writer Wednesday

Writer Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! Today I will not be doing the regular old me talking on and on about writing. I am going to be asking you guys questions for you to answer in the comments. I'm doing this to hear from your point of view to help me. I want others opinions on things related to writing.

  1. Should The Lost Island be the last book?
  2. Should I make a follow-up diary series for all of the characters in The Secret Sister Series?
  3. What book should I work on next, Haily Benton and the School of Secrets, a third book in the Secret Sister Series, or a Diary series?
  4. Do you have any suggestions for my books?
  5. Do you have a book coming out? (If so, I can feature it on my blog.)
  6. Do you have any writing questions for me to answer in a Writer Wednesday?

Thanks for reading! I will be doing a giveaway soon for a chance to be a character in one of my books, so stay tuned for that!

Monday Mishmash

Happy Monday!

  1. The Lost Island I am very excited to say I have finished my book. The book is called The Lost Island. It is the second book in the Secret Sister series. I love how many people liked my first book and wanted me to finish my next one.
  2. Thoughts I really like how people enjoyed The Secret Sister. But sadly The Lost Island might be the last book. I really want to keep writing more in the series, but the problem is I need peoples' opinions if I should keep going or not. I know in my previous post Kelly Hashway commented that I should do the Diary series, but everyone who can comment please comment your opinion. Thanks to everyone who will.
  3. School Summer passed by so quickly, and today I start school. I will be going into 5th grade already, my last year in elementary school.
  4. Young Writers I really want to inspire people to write. I grew up writing and I just kept believing. I will never stop dreaming of being a New York Times Bestselling Author.
  5. Time I will be blogging when I can even though I have school. Also I would love for you guys to ask me questions. I will try to answer all of them in one post and keep doing Q&A posts on Wednesdays when I have no Writing news.

❤ Thanks for reading ❤
What's on your mind this week?

writer wednesday

Writer Wednesday

Many of you may know I have put aside writing until summer break for my school. That is true, but I am now out of school and working on writing again.  I am planning to mainly work on The Lost Island instead of Haily Benton and the School of Secrets or any other books I have been working on. I know I have not yet told you, but The Lost Island I am planning on making the last book in that series. So I want everyone who is reading this to tell me their opinion on if I should keep going with one or two more books in the Secret Sister series or not because if so I do have some more ideas that I want to use, but it can't be in The Lost Island. I was also hoping to make a journal series for the characters from The Secret Sister and The Lost Island series. So I would love to hear your opinion on that, too.

Haily Benton will be a series, but I might keep pushing that off a bit since not many people know about it. I am also pushing it back so I can finish the first book series I started.
I am really excited to finish these books because I truly think that you will enjoy all the twists, mysteries, and adventures.

Monday Mishmash

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme created by Kelly Hashway dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash!
  1.  Time I am truly sorry for not posting in a while. It has just been hard because of everything going on lately, and with Christmas coming up I've been extra busy these past few weeks. So please just know that I'm honestly trying to post, but I barely even have time to type these posts. But don't worry. I have this week's posts all set up!
  2. Haily Benton and the School of Secrets I am so happy because this very Wednesday I will be posting a sneak peak for one of my newest books: Haily Benton and the School of Secrets. So be sure to check it out!
  3. Friday Feature I have got to say that Friday Feature is my favorite kind of post. Why? Because I have to read books for it, but it is so hard to pick just one that I have read that week. Be sure to check out my Friday Feature this week!
  4. Writing I have not had much time lately to just sit down and write my books. There is always something that is taking up that time. Like: school, readers wall challenge at school, after school activities, and more.
  5. Christmas Christmas is right around the corner! Which means that there will be joy, love, gifts, family, and celebration everywhere.

Monday Mishmash

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme created by Kelly Hashway dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash!

  1. The Lost Island I'm super excited because I am writing my second book in the same series  as my first book. It will be a mystery and adventure. The book is called The Lost Island! You can even look for the post about it on my blog if you keep scrolling down the page to find out more information on this book in the works!
  2. Haily Benton and the School of Secrets This is another book I am writing right now! This is the first book to another series of mine. This book will be posted more about on Wednesday! So make sure to check it out!
  3. Friday Feature I am so excited to write my friday feature this week it is about an author friend of mine and her new book! Stephanie Faris is really nice and has several books out right now. I own some of them, but make sure to catch this Friday Feature to find out more!
  4. Christmas This week we have a lot of shopping to do for the holidays. We already decorated for Christmas in our house! I always loved having family over for Christmas. It is my favorite part of Christmas! But I think next year that might change. Only because I have a baby cousin and she is going to want to stay home on Christmas and play with her toys. this year she doesn't know what Christmas is, But next year she most likely will know. My moms side of the family will not come they will go to my cousins house instead. My mom's mom said that we would do Christmas with my mom's side of the family a week early. I really don't care about getting gifts early. What i care about is seeing my family on Christmas day.
  5. Clubs In school I am in student council which is on Tuesdays but school was closed last week due to Election Day and this week we have off on Monday and this Tuesday again no student council for me.

Baby-Sitters Club Friday Feature

Poor Stacey. She just moved to a new town, is still coming to terms with her diabetes, and is facing baby-sitting problems left and right. Fortunately, Stacey has three new friends -- Kristy, Claudia, and Mary Anne. Together they're the BSC -- and they will deal with whatever's thrown their way... even if it's a rival baby-sitting club!

One part to the book was about Stacy and her old friend Laine from New York. Stacy also has diabetes and is going to all of the doctors in all different places. Will Stacy be able to handle all of this happening at once? Find out more by reading the book!

This book is so fun to read. So make sure to check out the other books in the series for more fun with the Baby-Sitters Club! I recommend this book for kids ages 8-12.

Stay tuned for more like this every Friday!

Aruba

Aruba

Aruba is my favorite place to be.

Over the summer I went to Aruba. Aruba at night was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The palm trees swayed in the warm breeze. Aruba was all lit up with colorful lights, and there were venders everywhere I looked. That wasn't nearly it. We stayed at Divi Phoenix Resorts in the top floor pent house which gave my family and me the perfect view of the pools from our balcony. The pools light up and change colors at night. The view of the ocean waves by the palapas was so comforting. Sometimes by the clock tower there is a water show. The water lights up and dances to the music. On Thursday nights by the clock tower in the same place there are performers that do crazy acts and tricks and some with fire too.

Aruba at day was nice too but not as many lights. No shows but a great time in the ocean and on the beach, going out to eat, getting smoothies, and getting to dunk my grandfather and my dad in the ocean. I even met a bird named Chichi that called my grandfather cuckoo and whistled at me!

STAY TUNED

Another Book

Another Book

If you like to read adventurous and exciting books then you will want to read this amazing book. The book is called Curse of the Granville Fortune.

The author Kelly Hashway has a three book series. This is the first book but make sure to check out her other books.

The second book is called Mystery of Majestic Cave.

The third book is called Visions of Mockingbird Point.

Here is some more about Curse of the Granville Fortune.

Twelve-year-old J.B.’s visions leave him sweaty, lightheaded, and certain he’s turning into a freak—or worse, going insane.

The visions stem from a family curse. An ancestor stole the Granville fortune, and now J.B.’s entire family will suffer. To break the curse, J.B. must find and return the Granville’s stolen property.

But he’s not the only one searching for the treasure. His journey leads to a dark forest where he’ll battle his worst fears. And when he meets two others who share the missing pieces of his visions and suffer from the same curse, the three soon realize they need to work together to break the curse before it's too late.
